The CCRC plant cell wall group is comprised of six independently funded research teams with expertise in polysaccharide chemistry and biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology. The goal of our research is to determine the role of the cell wall in plant growth and development.
Coping with plant environmental stress is the foundation of sustainable agriculture. Sections of this Web site include the stresses, biotech issues, a reference database, files and presentations, Web resources, and methods.
This is a database of sequence and functional information for protein kinases and phosphates in Arabidopsis thaliana and other plants. This site also provides abstracts of papers on plant protein kinases and related topics.
WallBioNet is a Research Coordination Network supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation. The goal of WallBioNet is to encourage interactions among scientists attempting to understand the biosynthesis of plant cell walls. The WallBioNet web site contains databases that house information on selected topics. Users can query the database to obtain the information they want to see. Five sections of the web site are ready for use: Member lists, Genes and cDNA clones, Mutants, Antibodies and Substrates. Other sections are under construction.
