Welcome!

If you have questions, contact me using the information on the right-hand side of this guide.  If I'm not available, try using our Ask a Librarian services.

Your Assignment

Paper and PenFor this assignment, you will be doing a few things in which library resources are involved. They are:

  • Choosing a topic to research
  • Creating a research question that will focus your topic
  • Gathering research and creating a working bibliography for your paper of the sources you find

Where do I start?

StartYour first step in your research assignment and paper is to either pick a topic, or, if you do know what you want to research, you can start developing a research question for that topic. In either case, go to the Find & Develop Your Topic to start.

You will learn how to do find a topic, do a quick research review of that topic and how to develop your topic into a research question.
