Myth #1: The library can just copy VHS tapes to DVD.
The library cannot legally copy VHS to DVD without permission from the producer! We make every attempt to find the producer, but sometimes we can't.
Myth #2: All VHS tapes can just be streamed
Only after obtaining digital rights from the producer which may be time consuming and cost-prohibitive. However, short clips can be streamed more easily.October 1, 2012
