Note about PubMed Central (PMC)

"Two articles in PMC is not the same as the journal being in PMC. Using PMC as a factor in determining quality is useful for the journal itself, because there are quality standards for that. A few articles published as the result of funding by NIH or other funding agencies which require deposit in an open repository is less indicative of a journal’s quality or non-predatory nature."
