ENFSI Digital Imaging Working GroupEuropean Network of Forensic Science Institutes
Welcome on our public site for information about the ENFSI digital imaging working group. This group has focussed on sharing information about methods, operating procedures, guidelines, casework problems and results by means of annual 3-day meetings, exchange visits, CD-rom's, and non-public web-facilities for file sharing and e-mail discussions. The majority of the members are actively involved in the following: crime scene photography, photogrammetry, 3d-reconstruction, computer modelling, animation and simulation, identification of cars and persons in video, face comparison, investigation of integrity and authenticity of images, video analysis, length measurements, comparison in cooperation with other experts, providing consultancy and support, quality assurance and proficiency testing Some members are also involved in imaging of fingermarks, footwear, toolmarks, and documents, image processing, X-ray imaging, image comparison, image transmission, image hardcopy, image databases, aerial photography, steganography and non-visible imaging.
