The Madigan Library provides access to hundreds of databases, each containing thousands of resources for you to use. In addition to those databases, Google Scholar can be a helpful resource for you too.
An offshoot of the popular Google search engine, you can search for scholarly, peer-reviewed articles on Google Scholar, just like you would search using a database. When a full-text PDF of an article of available, the link to the PDF will appear to the right of the article.
Search across many disciplines and sources for scholarly articles, theses, books, abstracts, patents and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other reputable websites.
Although Madigan Library subscribes to many databases, we are not able to purchase every article or journal. If you are trying to find an article that we do not have access to, try searching for the article in Google Scholar. Oftentimes, the full text of the article is available through Google Scholar.
