Bardo Gymnasium

Facts

Named for Lewis H. Bardo, 1903-1967 (Vocational Instructor, 1939-1945; Head of WTI's machinists training course, 1945-1956; Coordinator of WTI, 1956-1965; Dean of of Applied Arts and Sciences, 1965-1967)

The gym was built as a Works Project Administration project.

As a part of the Williamsport High School, the gym was used during the day by high school students and in the evening by college students.

1972 (The gym officially became property of WACC and was renamed the Lewis H. Bardo Gymnasium)

1977 (Renovated)

2012 (Expansion of basketball court to meet NCAA Division III standards)
