General Services Warehouse

The property and building were originally owned by Ille Electric Corp manufacturers.

The original General Services building was 112,000 gross square feet.

Gilmour Center

Facts

The Student & Administrative Services Center was renamed the Davie Jane Gilmour Center, in honor of Dr. Gilmour's retirement, after having served as Penn College President for 24 years. 

The SASC was designed by Murray Assoicates Architects, P.C.

The giant 30-by-60 foot American flag outside the Gilmour Center is a focal point of the college's main entrance and can be seen from miles around, due to its enormous size.


The interior of the Gilmour Center is just as striking as the exterior, offering open views, comfortable seating, and plenty of light, pictured above.


Pictured below, the second floor is also home to "Veronica's Garden," an indoor terrarium that was added in 2019, in honor of Veronica M. Muzic, who served in both teaching and administrative capacities at Penn College and Williamsport Area Community College.
