Also known as Unit 29

Constructed: 1926 by the Crooks-Dittmar Company

1944: Plant, land & machinery purchased from Cromar by Defense Plants Corporation. Rheem Manufacturing Company leased the plant and operated out of this location to produce artillery shells for the U.S. Army.

1947: National Hardwood Flooring Company purchased former Rheem Manufacturing property.

Purchased by College: 1971

Demolished: 1981

Between 1971 and 1981, the Cromar Building housed the following W.A.C.C. programs:

  • Carpentry
  • Carpentry & Building Construction Technology
  • Civil Engineering Technology
  • Sheet Metal
  • Bookstore
