Reserves are books, videos, etc. chosen by instructors for class use and placed on limited circulation. When you wish to check out a reserve item you’ll need to provide the name of your professor, course number, and author and/or title of the item to a staff member at the Main Circulation Desk. Check out periods are determined by the instructor and range from three (3) hours in-library use only to a semester for certain items.
At the end of each semester, materials on reserve are removed. Course reserve items are placed back in circulation or returned to the instructor if they are personal property. If the instructor is teaching the course again, arrangements can be made to keep the materials on reserve by contacting the Circulation Desk at ext. 7815 or by email.
